It's June, Already

Yes, it’s June 1st and summer is less than 3 weeks away.

Although this weekend temperatures will be in the 90's so it will feel like summer.

The above picture could have been taken in California or The Amazon, but its right here in Chicago.

This time of year the trees and grass are green, the flowers are blooming.

Chicago has so much beautiful scenery, and great architecture.

Chicago has so many parks and forest preserves, with trails for biking, walking and running.

The most popular attractions and walkways are: Millennium Park, The Chicago River Walk, and the newest attraction The 606.

The 606 Trail or the Bloomingdale Trail, because it runs along Bloomingdale Ave. and is very popular with walkers, runners, bikers.

The trail goes for about 2.5 miles, although there are talks of expanding the trail. It's a multi use recreational trail and park with unique bridges and artwork on the trail.

The 606 runs from Ashland to Ridgeway. There are 12 access points, approximately every quarter-mile, with a total of 17 access ramps, all of which are accessible to people with disabilities.

Summer is almost here, so go out and enjoy what Chicago has to offer.

Have a Happy Summer!
