The Wrigley Building

We were back in downtown Chicago.

After showing condominiums we took a stroll on Michigan Ave.

"The Magnificent Mile"

We wound up by the Chicago River and Michigan Ave.  Absolutely stunning. Amazing views.

We took a picture of the Landmark Wrigley Building.

The Wrigley Building is celebrating its 100th anniversary. The 30 story building was built in 1921. The 21 story North tower building was built in 1924. Walkways connecting the two buildings were added at ground level, and the third and fourteenth floors.

The location and building was built by the chewing gum founder William Wrigley Jr. It was the headquarters for his chewing gum company.

On the South building there is the famous clock tower that faces all directions. Each face of the clock is almost 20 feet in diameter.

Here is a fact, in case you are in a trivia contest; The Wrigley Building was Chicago's first air conditioned office building.

Here is a great video showing the Wrigley Building.

Enjoy!
