On the northwest corner of Lake Street & Peoria Street is a six story building that was built in the 1880's.
This building has alot of history. In fact it was home to the original Schwinn bicycle factory.

There is so much new development in the area. Many of the older buildings and warehouses are being converted to office space, or condominiums.
In this case, there are plans to make it into a 140-room boutique hotel.
