Marie's Pizza is a restaurant, bar and liquor store. This family owned and operated restaurant has served up thin crust pizza since 1950. They also have other Italian dishes and live music on the weekends.
Originally opening in 1940 as a tavern and packaged goods store. In 1950, they started making thin-crust pizza.
It is a retro looking restaurant with red vinyl booths, stone and wood-paneled walls and other nostalgic decorations.
It probably has not been remolded since the 1970's.
It's still a cool neighborhood place located on Lawrence Ave. in the Mayfair neighborhood.
It is a shame that they have been closed for over a year now. Hopefully, they will re-open soon.
